Prices, Permits and boat rules: –

FISHING PERMITS

Please note that the club does not have the facility to accept payments via Card Machines at present at ANY of the below outlets, the club is looking into this in the future.

Please note that as of February 2020, ALL fish that are indigenous to the lochs which are Salmon, Sea Trout, Brown Trout, Pike, Perch, Eel, and 3 Spined Sticklebacks MUST be returned to the loch. If an angler catches anything other than the above it must be humanely dispatched please phone/text 07853339370 for instructions on how to proceed.

Day permits for all species are £10.00/day (24hr permit).

Youth 12-16 £4.00/day, accompanied by a responsible adult.

Children under 12 are free, accompanied by a responsible adult.

Boats

The wearing of lifejackets is compulsory you MUST bring your own.

Engines: From July 2016 Engine hire is suspended

You may bring your own engine up to 4HP.

All boats come with oars included in the total price. 

Undernoted is the new price structure –

For up to 8 Hours £30.00

For up to 24 Hours £60.00

(The 24-hour period starts at 8 am one day and to 8 am the next day.)

Permits are not included in the above boat prices.

Boat Rules

A maximum of 3 persons to a 14ft boat, and 4 persons to a 16ft boat

Life jackets are compulsory no exceptions. You must supply your own lifejacket for all persons in the boat.

Engines must not be lowered or started until 50 yards from the boathouse (keep to the right of buoys on leaving the mooring bay).

Boat anglers should give bank anglers a minimum of 100 meters arc of fishing space.

Do not anchor your boat to the sailing club buoys and please respect their right to enjoy their sport.

All Lomond boats are equipped with a drainage plug it is the responsibility of the user to make sure the drainage plug is in place and tightly fitted.

All damage to the boats/engines must be reported immediately to allow us to take prompt remedial action.

Boat hires are for the specified period of time a charge of £5 per hour will be levied for late arrival.
